¡Buenos días!

¡Hola! I’m Srta. Soltész, and I’m excited to be teaching Spanish Language Arts to students in Grades 7, 8, and 9 this year.

I have a Master’s degree in Language & Diversity and have 15 years experience teaching in the Spanish Bilingual Program. One of my favourite parts of teaching Spanish is bringing the language and culture to life through the many events and activities we share as a school community, including Spanish Cultural Week, Spanish Immersion Week, Día de los muertos, Día del libro, etc.

In the classroom, students are encouraged to be curious, take risks with their language, and learn from both their successes and mistakes. As a team, the Robert Warren teachers collaborate to create meaningful learning experiences that engage students in authentic work and help them make connections between what they are learning in class and the world beyond school.

Assignments & Learning

This semester, students will use Google Classroom as our central hub for course-related content and assignments. Students are provided with class time to work on assignments, and each task is supported with resources such as videos, articles, rubrics, checklists, and opportunities for additional practice.

I look forward to working together to support your child's learning and growth throughout the year. ¡Vamos a aprender, crear y comunicarnos en español!
