¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!
It has been another busy and exciting week at Robert Warren! Our students have been learning beyond the classroom through field trips and athletics, and it was wonderful to welcome so many families into the school for our Meet the Teacher evening on Thursday. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Looking ahead to next week, we have our first School Council meeting and Fun Lunch on Tuesday, and a reminder that Friday is a non-instructional day and there are no classes for students.
A quick PE reminder for all families: students need proper athletic shoes for PE. Appropriate footwear helps keep students safe during physical activity and prevents marking on our gym and hallway floors. Students also need a change of clothes, which can be Robert Warren athletic gear or athletic wear of their choice. A red shirt is preferred, particularly for off-site PE activities, as it helps staff easily identify our group and confirm student attendance. PE shoes and clothing can be stored in each student’s assigned PE locker.
The weather is looking beautiful for the weekend, and I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy it with family and friends. ¡Que tengan un excelente fin de semana y disfruten del buen tiempo!

Healthy Hunger / Hambre Saludable
Healthy Hunger lunch orders are available many Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year. Families can visit HealthyHunger.ca to register their child in their class and begin ordering lunches.

Robert Warren School Council
All parents and guardians are invited to join us for our first School Council meeting on Tuesday, September 22, held in person at Robert Warren School.
· School Council: 7:00 p.m.
· RW School Society & MPARW: 7:45 p.m.
· Meetings will include the work of School Council, the Robert Warren School Society and MPARW, with several roles to be filled this year.

Future Meetings (via Microsoft Teams): October 20, November 24, January 19, February 23, April 13 and May 18. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., with Society business beginning at 7:45 p.m.
We look forward to connecting with our families and working collaboratively to support Robert Warren students throughout 2026–2027!
Robert Warren Casino – Volunteers Needed!
Our Robert Warren Casino is December 1 & 2, and we need parent volunteers to help make this important fundraiser a success! Casino funds directly support opportunities and resources for our students, and one volunteer shift generates an average of approximately $2,400 for our school. Volunteers are trained on site, no experience or clearance is required, and a meal is provided during each shift.
