I want to wish all of our Robert Warren families a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend! I hope you have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fall colours, relax, and spend some quality time with family and friends.
With our first month of school complete and school conferences approaching, please take a few minutes to review PowerSchool with your child for any missing assignments. This is a great opportunity to discuss their progress, celebrate successes, and make a plan to complete outstanding work. If your child needs clarification or support, please encourage them to connect with their teachers. Conference details and booking information are included below.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up! Bookings will open through MyCBE on Tuesday, October 13 at 8:00 a.m.
- Monday, October 19 (8:30 AM–12:30 PM): Online via Microsoft Teams
- Thursday, October 22 (4:30–8:00 PM): In person at Robert Warren
Booking Deadlines:
- October 19 Teams Conferences: Book by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18
- October 22 In-Person Conferences: Book by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21
Important:
Due to limited availability, please book only with your child’s core teachers (Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies and SLA).
How to Book in MyCBE:
Log in → Book and Manage Meeting Times → Select student → Choose date → Choose teacher → Select time → Confirm

U of Elf Production – Parent Volunteers Needed!
We are excited to bring U of Elf to life and would love support from our school community! We are looking for parent/guardian volunteers to assist with set design and construction, props, costumes, decorating, and other backstage production needs.
Whether you enjoy building, crafting, sewing, or simply being creative, we would welcome your help! Volunteers working with students must have appropriate volunteer clearance.
If you are interested in supporting the production, please contact Ms. Keen, Drama Teacher, at clkeen@cbe.ab.ca.

Chess Club continues every Tuesday at lunch in Room 8 with Ms. Robertson.

Big Box of Cards Fundraiser – Final Reminder!
- The deadline to submit orders is Wednesday, October 14.
- All orders must be submitted by the end of the school day.
Casino Volunteers Needed! | ¡Voluntarios para el Casino!
Our Robert Warren Casino is December 1 & 2, and we need parent volunteers to help make this important fundraiser a success! Casino funds directly support opportunities and resources for our students, and one volunteer shift generates an average of approximately $2,400 for our school. Volunteers are trained on site, no experience or clearance is required, and a meal is provided during each shift.
Please see the attached Casino Volunteer flyer and scan the QR code to sign up for an available shift. A little of your time makes a BIG difference for Robert Warren students!
