¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!

As we wrap up another busy week at Robert Warren, I would like to thank all the parents and guardians who attended our School Council, Robert Warren Parents Association (RWPA) and MPARW meetings. We appreciate your time, engagement and continued support of our school community.

A special thank you to Sra. Coulombe for organizing a wonderful walk to Fish Creek Park and meaningful activities for Orange Shirt Day on Tuesday. It was a valuable opportunity for our students and staff to come together in recognition of the importance of Truth and Reconciliation.

Looking ahead, our Grade 6 students will be visiting the Fish Creek Environmental Learning Centre next week:

  • Tuesday, October 6: Class groups 62 and 63
  • Wednesday, October 7: Class groups 61 and 64

Students are reminded to bring a lunch that does not require a microwave and to dress for the weather, as they will be spending time outdoors.

We also have a busy week of basketball and soccer games ahead! We wish all our student-athletes the best of luck and thank our coaches and families for their ongoing support.

¡Que tengan un maravilloso fin de semana de otoño!

Saludos,

Kristal Derbyshire, Principal

🎰 Casino Volunteers Needed! | ¡Voluntarios para el Casino!

Our Robert Warren Casino is December 1 & 2, and we need parent volunteers to help make this important fundraiser a success! Casino funds directly support opportunities and resources for our students, and one volunteer shift generates an average of approximately $2,400 for our school. Volunteers are trained on site, no experience or clearance is required, and a meal is provided during each shift.

Please see the attached Casino Volunteer flyer and scan the QR code to sign up for an available shift. A little of your time makes a BIG difference for Robert Warren students!
