Robert Warren families!

On Tuesday, our students delivered two absolutely incredible performances at ¡Qué Pasa! — an impressive glow-in-the-dark drum routine and a vibrant, spectacular dance performance that was choreographed to perfection. We are so proud of the dedication, talent, and energy our students brought to the stage. A huge thank you goes to Sra. Robertson and Sra. Gilliland for the countless hours of work, organization, and commitment they invested to bring these performances to life. We would also like to sincerely thank the parents who volunteered to support our performers, as well as the parent volunteers who helped behind the scenes throughout the entire ¡Qué Pasa! event. From moving performer groups between the second balcony and the stage during rehearsals and performances, with many, many stairs involved, to supporting schools across the event, your efforts were seamless and greatly appreciated by everyone involved. It is always wonderful to see our Robert Warren community come together in support of our students.

A reminder that Friday is a Non-Instructional Day with no school for students, and Monday is Victoria Day. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday morning at 8:45 AM. We hope all of our families have a safe and wonderful long weekend! Celebrating Our CBE Junior High Honour Band Students

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Olivia, Rowan, Jack, Logan, and Fabio on being selected to participate in the inaugural CBE Junior High Honour Band!

These students represented Robert Warren with an outstanding performance, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and musical talent alongside exceptional young musicians from across the Calgary Board of Education.

This special concert highlighted the strength of music education within CBE middle and junior high schools and celebrated the impact of strong band programs and student leadership. We are incredibly proud of these students for this remarkable accomplishment and thank our band program for continuing to provide such meaningful opportunities for our students to grow and shine.

Band / Banda

• Junior Band rehearsal will take place Tuesday morning at 7:30 am.

• Jazz Band rehearsal will take place Wednesday morning at 7:30 am.

• Grade 8 Band Camp runs Wednesday to Friday.

Please drop students off with all gear at approximately 8:00 am on Wednesday, and arrange for pick up at 12:45 pm on Friday.

Athletics / Deportes

• Senior Badminton Divisionals: Tuesday, 4:00–7:15 pm at Henry Wise Wood High School o Players should arrive as soon as possible to allow time to warm up before matches begin

• Congratulations to our Junior Badminton team for capturing 1st place in the division last week — we are very proud of your hard work and success!

Buddy Lunches on Wednesdays / Almuerzos de compañeros los miércoles

Join us Wednesdays at lunch in Ms. Keen’s classroom for Open Hours, Peer Buddies, and Tutoring. This is a great opportunity for students to connect across grade levels, get extra support with schoolwork or organization, and build community in a positive, supportive space. CBE
