This past week, Robert Warren School celebrated Truth and Reconciliation Week (Sept. 22–26).
The theme, “Taking Truth to Action,” reminds us to honour survivors and families while
remembering the children lost to the residential school system.
Teachers thoughtfully wove Orange Shirt Day learning into ELA, Social Studies, SLA, PE, and
Fashion Studies. On Friday, our school community wore orange to show support and reflect
together.
Reconciliation is not just one day, but an ongoing commitment. Families are encouraged to join
community Orange Shirt Day events on Sept. 30.

Healthy Hunger is back!
Organized by School Council, Healthy Hunger started this week and will run every Tuesday &
Thursday. Accounts don’t expire, but you must link your child to Robert Warren School each year.
