¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!

It has been a busy and exciting week at Robert Warren! Athletics are underway, Chess Club had

a fantastic first meeting with strong student interest, and our first fire drill went smoothly

thanks to our students’ cooperation. With this being our first full five-day week, I know many

will be ready for a restful weekend.

Looking ahead, please note two important events next week:

• School Photos: Thursday, September 18

• Meet the Teacher Night: Thursday, September 18

o Doors Open: 6:00 pm

o 6:10 – 6:30 pm: Welcome presentation in the Gym for all NEW students and

families (Grades 6–9) with all teachers present. If you are not new to Robert Warren

School but would like to attend, you are most welcome—this session will review

some key routines and important aspects of both middle school and Robert Warren.

o 6:30 – 7:00 pm: Grade Team Presentations

-Grade 6 – Gym

- Grade 7 – Room 17

- Grade 8/9 – Learning Commons

o 7:00 – 7:30 pm: Families are invited to tour the school, meet core and

complementary teachers, and connect with staff.

Please remember this is not a parent-teacher conference. Formal conferences will take place on

October 23 and 24. School Council representatives will be present, and families can sign up for

volunteering. Be sure to follow us on Instagram @escuelarobertwarren for updates and

highlights.

¡Gracias por su continuo apoyo y colaboración en la educación de sus hijos!

Saludos,

Kristal Derbyshire, Principal
