It’s been a fantastic few days back at school! Our students have been amazing, full of energy,
creativity, and school spirit. Halloween was a huge success with so many great costumes, mini
dances in PE, and a fun photo booth in the Activity Area.
A quick reminder about locker combinations: you might want to ask your child what theirs is and write it down somewhere visible. With Fall Break (Nov. 8–12) fast approaching, it can be easy to forget. (I know a weekend away is all it takes for me to forget my passwords!) On Wednesday, over 100 students needed help remembering their locker codes, so a little reminder at home can go a long way.
Please note that Fall Break dates remain the same (Nov. 8–12), and we’ll be rebooking School
Conferences for November 27 and 28. Stay tuned for booking details in the coming weeks.

Attendance Reminder / Recordatorio de Asistencia
Please call our Attendance Line (403-777-7690, Ext. 1) for all absences, late arrivals, and early
departures. The attendance phone line is checked first thing each morning, while the school’s
general inbox is reviewed later in the day, so email is not a timely way to report absences.
Calling early allows us to record “leave early” times and alert teachers in advance. For example, if a call comes during PE while students are outside, there may be a delay before your child can be brought to the office.
You’re welcome to email your child’s teacher in addition to calling if you’d like to share more
details, but the Attendance Line must always be contacted for attendance updates.

Athletics/ Deportes
To support a safe return to competition, a phased re-entry plan for school athletics will be in
place. There will be a pause on all competitions from Nov. 3–7, with activities resuming
gradually:
• Nov. 3–7: Practices may begin
• Following weeks: Exhibition and league games may resume
Basketball
• Jr Boys: Tuesday 3:30pm-5pm; Thursday 7:30am-8:30am
• Sr Boys: Tuesday 7:30am-8:30am; Thursday 3:30pm-5:00pm
• Sr Girls: Monday, 7:00am-8:30am; Wednesday 7:00am-8:30am
PE Clothing Orders
PE clothing orders will be ready for distribution on Tuesday!
Band & Choir/ Banda y Coro
• Jazz Band resumes Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
• Indeygo Cookie Dough orders will arrive Thursday, Nov. 13. Please arrange pickup after
school that day.
