As we head into the weekend, I want to thank our families for the ongoing support you show to
Robert Warren School and to our staff. The encouragement, kindness, and partnership of our
community make such a difference each day for our students.
At this time, schools will be closed beginning Monday, October 6, due to labour action. Please
check your emails regularly for up-to-date information. The Calgary Board of Education (CBE)
will communicate all pertinent information directly to families.
It is important to note that during labour action, all ATA staff will not have access to email,
Google Classroom, or PowerSchool. Please keep this in mind if you are trying to connect with
teachers.

Athletics/ Deportes
CMLSAA Athletics – October Cancellations
Due to labour action beginning Mon, Oct 6, all CMLSAA practices and competitions are cancelled
from Oct 6–31 (dates may be extended). We know this is disappointing for our athletes and
families, thank you for your understanding. Athlete families should also have received a detailed
email from coaches with additional details
Band & Choir/ Banda y Coro
There are currently no upcoming Band practices scheduled. Families will be notified when learning
resumes and practices recommence. Thank you for your understanding and support.
