¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!

Even though this was a short week, we have a lot of exciting events coming up—please be sure

to read through all items below.

Next week, we kick off Spanish Immersion Week, and our school will be buzzing with energy!

Beginning Friday, November 21, we’ll launch the week with a fun assembly and pep rally. From

November 24–27, students will take part in Spanish-themed scavenger hunts and earn points for

speaking Spanish as part of our House System.

All students (Grades 6–9) will be sorted into one of four houses—Casa de Valor, Casa de

Amistad, Casa de Sabiduría, or Casa de Ingenio—inspired by the spirit of Harry Potter. Students

can earn:

• 1 point for using Spanish independently

• 3 points for exceptional effort (max 3 points at a time)

Teachers will track points, and the winning house will enjoy a pizza party, with a prize also going

to the teacher who awards the most points. Students are encouraged to dress up all week in

their house colors and fun accessories.

It’s a fantastic way to build school spirit, strengthen language skills, and celebrate our bilingual

community.

¡Vamos a divertirnos hablando español!

Saludos,

Kristal Derbyshire, Principal
