¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!

Our Grade 7 students had a fantastic time at Band Camp this week—growing as musicians,

building friendships, and creating lasting memories. A big thank you to our music team for

making this experience so meaningful!

A reminder that next week marks the start of Part A Written PATs for our Grade 6 and Grade 9

students. Please help ensure your child is rested and ready for these important assessments.

Track and field season is in full swing! With sunny weather ahead, we encourage students to

attend practices for the events they’re interested in—we’re excited to see their energy and

sportsmanship shine.

Lastly, Grade 9 Farewell ticket sales have been extended to Friday, May 30, to accommodate a

delay in MyCBE payment processing. Thank you for your patience and support as we prepare for

this special celebration.

¡Gracias por su continuo apoyo y por ser parte de nuestra comunidad escolar!

Saludos,

Kristal Derbyshire, Principal

Closed Campus Reminder for Lunch

Robert Warren School follows a Closed Campus Policy during lunch to ensure student safety and

supervision. All students who live outside the walk zone are expected to remain on school

property during the lunch break. Supervision is provided, and students are expected to go

outside after eating unless participating in a supervised indoor activity.

Families of students living within the walk zone were asked to complete a lunch declaration

form in September indicating whether their child would remain on campus or go home for

lunch.

Reminder: Third-party food deliveries (e.g., SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, DoorDash) are not

permitted during the school day. Students should bring a packed lunch or participate in Fun

Lunch, when available.

Lunchtime Work & Support Opportunities Next Week

Srta. Soltész’s classroom (Room 13) will be open during lunch next week for any students who

would like to complete work or receive extra support. This time is open to all classwork—not

just Spanish—so students are welcome to bring assignments from any subject.

The schedule for next week is as follows:

• Tuesday: 12:13 – 12:32 (first half of lunch)

• Wednesday: 12:13 – 12:52 (full lunch break)

Whether students need a quiet space to focus, a bit of extra help, or just time to catch up on

work, they are welcome to join Srta. Soltész in Room 13 during these times.
