A quick reminder to families that Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend. Clocks will spring forward on Sunday, March 8, so please remember to adjust your clocks and enjoy the extra evening daylight.
I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Mrs. Gilliland, our Senior Band students, parents, and volunteers for coordinating a wonderful performance at the Jack Singer Concert Hall on Monday for the Winds from the South concert. It was a fantastic evening showcasing the talent and dedication of our musicians. ¡Felicitaciones a nuestros músicos por una presentación maravillosa y por representar a nuestra escuela con tanto orgullo!
Our regular season volleyball games wrapped up this week, and over the next two weeks our teams will be heading into playoffs. We wish all of our Warrior teams the best of luck and thank Sra. Coulome, Sra. Vargas, Sr. Garcia, and Sr. Thompson for the time and energy they have volunteered to coaching our students.

Open Hours at lunch with Sra. Soltesz
Sra. Soltesz will be offering Open Hours during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday next week. All students are welcome to attend to work on assignments, get extra help, or catch up on learning—whether it is Spanish or any other subject. Chromebooks will be available for student use. This is a great opportunity for students to access additional support in a flexible and welcoming environment.

Que Pasa Dance Group
Due to recent illnesses and missed rehearsals because of other commitments, this week’s rehearsal on Monday, March 9, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. will now be for ALL dancers in Grades 6–9.
Dancers are expected to have reviewed and practiced the choreography from the previous rehearsal. Choreography videos are available in Google Classroom.
There will also be a mandatory rehearsal on Friday, March 13, from 1:00–4:00 p.m for all dancers. Students should bring their lunches and snacks. This will be our first full rehearsal with the entire group practicing the routine together.
