Robert Warren families!

As we begin the final stretch of the school year, we are excited to celebrate Spanish Week at Robert Warren School! ¡Estamos emocionados de celebrar nuestra comunidad bilingüe durante toda la semana!

On Monday, students are encouraged to wear their favourite sports jersey as we kick off the week with a school-wide Pep Rally. We are also thrilled to welcome our Grade 5 feeder students from Canyon Meadows and Eugene Coste Schools for the celebration.

Highlights for Monday include:

· Door decorating and poster-making activities

· Recognition of our badminton athletes

· Performances from our talented ¡Qué Pasa! students

· A chance to win one of our FIFA Host City soccer balls for showing outstanding school spirit

· School Council Freezie Fundraiser at lunch ($2 each)

Spanish Week continues on Thursday as students have the opportunity to watch the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony and Mexico's first match during lunch. This event provides a meaningful connection to learning about contemporary events in the Spanish-speaking world.

We look forward to a week filled with school spirit, culture, celebration, and community. Thank you for helping make Robert Warren such a vibrant place to learn and grow!

Saludos,

Kristal Derbyshire, Principal

Upcoming PATs / Próximas Pruebas Provinciales

As we move into another busy week, we would like to remind families of the following upcoming PATs:

• June 9 – Grade 9 English Language Arts PAT – Part B (9:00–10:00 a.m.) • June 12 – Grade 6 Science PAT (9:00–10:00 a.m.)

To help students feel confident and prepared for their PATs, we encourage them to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive at school on time, and bring a water bottle and healthy snack. We wish all of our Grade 6 and Grade 9 students success as they demonstrate their learning and showcase all they have accomplished this year.

Please note that regular classes continue following all PATs. To minimize disruptions to learning, we ask families to avoid scheduling early pick-ups on PAT days. Due to the volume of students writing PATs, the office is unable to accommodate multiple requests for students to leave immediately following their exams. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Track & Field Divisional Meet – June 10 Congratulations to all of our student athletes who qualified for and will be representing Robert Warren School at the Divisional Track & Field Meet on June 10!
