¡Hola familias de Robert Warren!
As we head into the final week of the school year, thank you for your ongoing support and
partnership. It’s been a year full of learning, connection, and growth at Robert Warren.
This Saturday, June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, celebrated on the summer solstice—
the longest day of the year. This day holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for many First
Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. It’s a time to honour Indigenous cultures, languages, and
traditions, and we encourage families to reflect and learn together.
Our Grade 9 students enjoyed a wonderful Farewell at Heritage Park. It was a special day of
celebration, reflection, and connection with classmates and staff. We’re proud of their
achievements and wish them all the best as they move on to high school!
Here are a few key reminders for the final week:
June 23 & 24 – Locker cleanout (bring an extra bag)
June 24 – Last Fun Lunch
June 25 at 11:00 AM – Grade 9 Stage Walk
▪ Families are welcome to attend
▪ RW siblings may join to watch, space is limited so all students will not be in attendance
June 26 – Early dismissal at 12:44 PM
June 27 – Deadline for outstanding fee payments – full and partial payments through MyCBE
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and restful summer! We look forward to seeing students back
on Tuesday, September 2 for the 2025–2026 school year.
¡Gracias por un gran año y que tengan unas vacaciones maravillosas!
Saludos,
Kristal Derbyshire, Principal
