As we head into the final week of the school year, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. It has been a year full of learning, connection, and growth at Robert Warren, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a wonderful community.
Final Week Reminders
June 21 – National Indigenous Peoples Day
· A day to honour and celebrate the cultures, histories, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
June 22 – Grade 9 Social Studies PAT (9:00–10:20 AM)
June 23 – Grade 9 Science PAT (9:00–10:20 AM)
June 23 & 24 – Locker cleanout (students should bring an extra bag)
June 23 – Grade 8 Activate Field Trip (AM)
June 25 at 11:00 AM – Grade 9 Stage Walk
· Families are welcome to attend.
· Robert Warren siblings may join to watch; however, space limitations mean not all students will be able to attend.
June 25 from 6:00–8:00 PM – Grade 9 Farewell Celebration
June 26 – Regular Friday dismissal at 12:44 PM
June 26 – Deadline for outstanding fee payments. Full and partial payments can be made through MyCBE.

Staff Farewells and Welcomes / Despedidas y Bienvenidas del Personal
As we wrap up the school year, we would also like to recognize a few valued members of our Robert Warren family.
A very special farewell goes to Mr. Ross Cooper, our Facility Operator, who will be retiring at the end of June after 26 years at Robert Warren School. Ross has been the backbone of our building for more than two decades, caring for our school, supporting students and staff, and somehow always knowing where every switch, key, secret button, and hidden space could be found. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and service and wish him many wonderful adventures, travels, and happy years ahead with his wife and dog. While we are excited for him, we know there will be a learning curve as we figure out all the things Ross has quietly taken care of for the past 26 years!
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Sr. Garcia and Sra. Felstrom as they embark on new adventures. We wish Sr. Garcia all the best as he explores opportunities in a new province, and Sra. Felstrom as she begins an exciting new career path. Thank you both for your contributions to Robert Warren and our students.
Looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to formally welcome several new staff members to the Warrior family:

We look forward to the knowledge, energy, and experiences they will bring to our school community.
Final Returns – Band & Athletics
Band Instruments & Equipment All band instruments must be cleaned and returned by Wednesday. This includes any outstanding payments for damaged books, reeds, missing vests, or other equipment.
School Team Jerseys Any student who still has a jersey from a school team this year must return it by Wednesday. Replacement fees will be issued for any unreturned jerseys.

June 26 – Year-End Celebration & Early Dismissal
Wednesday, June 26 is our final day of school with early dismissal at 12:44 PM. Students will enjoy a fun morning of activities, including a school-wide assembly, outdoor games, and a year-end BBQ provided for all students.
Students will be outside for part of the morning—please ensure they wear comfortable activewear, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.
A snow cone food truck will be available during the last hour of the day for those who wish to purchase a treat.
