A reminder to families that next week is a short week, with no school on Thursday and Friday due to Teachers’ Convention, followed by Family Day on Monday, when there is also no school.
We hope our students and families enjoy a wonderful long weekend together and that the beautiful weather continues so everyone can take advantage of time outdoors. ¡Les deseamos un maravilloso Día de la Familia lleno de descanso, alegría y momentos especiales!
For our Grade 9 students and families, the CBE High School Transfer process opens Monday, February 9 and closes March 15. While students are automatically designated to their high school based on their home address, a transfer request is required if you are interested in an alternative program such as IB or a specific course sequence. Please note that schools may be open, limited, or closed to transfers.
To explore options and review the process, please visit the link below. If you have questions, we encourage families to connect directly with their designated high school, as middle schools are not involved in the transfer process.

Chess Club – Semester 2�
• Chess Club meets Mondays at lunch in Room 8 during Semester 2.
• Students will head to Chess Club during the regular outdoor recess time to play, learn
strategies, and enjoy friendly competition
Que Pasa Dance Group
• Our next rehearsal will take place on Monday, February 9, from 3:30–5:00 pm, and is for all dancers in Grades 6–9.
• Dancers are expected to have reviewed and practiced the choreography from the
previous rehearsal.
• Choreography videos are available in Google Classroom
