We hope everyone is staying warm as we head into the final week before Winter Break. A huge
thank you to our Band and Choir performers, families, supervisors, and Band Council for an
outstanding Winter Concert on Thursday. ¡Qué noche tan increíble para celebrar nuestra
comunidad!
As temperatures drop, we kindly remind students and families to ensure students come
prepared with jackets, hats, and gloves. All students spend time outdoors during lunch, and
being dressed for the cold helps keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Volunteer Interest Form – We Need Your Support!
This year we have significantly fewer volunteers signed up compared to previous years when we
used paper forms. Completing the Google Volunteer Interest Form helps our volunteer
coordinator efficiently organize opportunities and communicate with families.

Winter Semi-Formal Dance!
We’re excited to wrap up the year with our Winter Semi-Formal Dance on December 19! Dress
to impress in your cutest, coziest semi-formal outfit
Entry is $2. Please bring a toonie to your homeroom teacher to reserve your spot. Funds support
prizes and winter-themed decorations to make the night magical
Leadership 7 Holiday Food Drive
Our Grade 7 Leadership students are wrapping up our Holiday Food Drive for the Calgary Food
Bank, and Thursday is the final day to donate. Students can bring items to their homeroom, and
the class with the most donations will win a pizza party. Most-needed items include pasta,
canned tomatoes, peanut butter, diapers (sizes 1–6), and baby formula..
Gift-Card Drive
Our Holiday Gift Card Drive is underway, and MONDAY is the deadline to donate. School
Council is accepting e-transfers, cash, or cheques (to Robert Warren School Council) at
robertwarrencouncil@gmail.com. All funds will be used to purchase Walmart gift cards to
support families with essential items and holiday needs. Please include “Gift Card Drive” in the
memo so funds are allocated correctly.
Yearbook Contest
Students are invited to participate in the Yearbook Cover Contest.
“Create your own yearbook cover design and submit it to Sra. Coulombe in room 1 for our 2025-
2026 Robert Warren School yearbook cover!
