Happy Thursday, Robert Warren families!
Please note that tomorrow, Friday, April 3, is a non-instructional day for Good Friday, and there will be no school for students. We will return to regular classes all next week. While today brought us a true Calgary spring snowstorm, we are hopeful that some April showers (and a little sunshine!) will soon help welcome the start of spring. ¡Esperamos que la primavera llegue muy pronto! Wishing all of our families a wonderful long weekend.
Saludos,
Kristal Derbyshire, Principal

Open Hours at lunch with Sra. Soltesz
Sra. Soltesz will be offering Open Hours during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. All students are welcome to attend to work on assignments, get extra help, or catch up on learning—whether it is Spanish or any other subject. Chromebooks will be available for student use. This is a great opportunity for students to access additional support in a flexible and welcoming environment.
Peer Mentorship & Tutoring
We are excited to introduce a new mentorship and peer tutoring opportunity for students, taking place in Ms. Keen’s classroom at lunch on Wednesdays. This initiative is designed to help build stronger connections across grade levels by bringing students together in a supportive, positive learning environment. Older students will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles by supporting and mentoring younger students, while all participants can receive help with choolwork, organization, and study strategies.
This is an open and welcoming space for all students—whether they are looking for extra academic support, a place to work, or simply a chance to connect with others. Our goal is to foster a sense of community, confidence, and belonging across the school while supporting student learning in a meaningful way.
We look forward to seeing students build relationships, grow as leaders, and support one another.
