Thank you to Chantel Chagnon for sharing her drumming sessions with our students this week. It was a meaningful and engaging experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity for our students to learn through music and culture. A few reminders for the week ahead: our Grade 7-1 and 7-2 classes will be heading to the Calgary Zoo next Wednesday, April 22. If your child still has outstanding field trip forms, please send them in as soon as possible.
A reminder as well that Friday is a non-instructional day for Maatoomsii'Pookaiks professional learning.
Finally, yearbook orders for the 2026 Robert Warren Yearbook are due by April 30. There are only three weeks left to order, so don’t miss the chance to capture this year’s memories.

Attendance Information
Please remember to report all absences, late arrivals, and early pickups by calling the attendance line. If your child is unwell, please call 403-777-7690, Ext. 1.
Construction on Macleod Trail will continue until July, so we encourage families to allow extra travel time. Our first bell rings at 8:40 a.m.
As the weather warms up, classes may occasionally head into the surrounding community for instructional activities. If you arrive to pick up your child while the class is off campus, pickup will need to wait until the class returns to school.

Open Hours at lunch with Sra. Soltesz
Open Hours will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the lunch hour. Students are welcome to come in to work on assignments, and Chromebooks will be available for use. On Thursdays, students will also have the option to participate in literacy games and enjoy board games in Spanish.
Peer Mentorship, Peer Buddies & Tutoring – Wednesdays at Lunch!
Join us Wednesdays at lunch in Ms. Keen’s classroom for Peer Mentorship, Peer Buddies, and Tutoring! Students can connect across grade levels, get extra support with schoolwork or organization, and build community in a positive, supportive space.
Grade 9 Farewell Committee!
A quick heads up for our Grade 9 students that there will be a Grade 9 Farewell meeting on Monday, April 20 in Room 7 at lunch. Students are invited to bring their lunch, share ideas, and help plan this year’s farewell celebration.
Que Pasa Dancers
Our next rehearsal will take place on Monday, April 20 from 3:30–5:00 pm. As we move into our final weeks of preparation, it is very important that all dancers attend rehearsals. Absences make it difficult to finalize formations and staging. All Que Pasa paperwork is due to Ms. Robertson by Monday.
