Hello Robert Warren families!
As we look ahead to next week, we are excited to welcome Chantal Chagnon Indigenous Drumming / Tambores indígenas on April 15–16, which will be a wonderful learning opportunity for students.
We also wanted to share that 7-3 homeroom will be attending Zoo School next Wednesday, with 7-2 and 7-1 attending the following week.
We are definitely more than ready for spring to arrive, and as always, the next few months of the school year tend to fly by! We are looking forward to all of the great learning and experiences still to come as we head into this busy and exciting season.
¡Estamos listos para la primavera y emocionados por todo lo que viene en los próximos meses!
Saludos,
Kristal Derbyshire, Principal

Sra. Soltesz will be offering Open Hours during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. All students are welcome to attend to work on assignments, get extra help, or catch up on learning—whether it is Spanish or any other subject. Chromebooks will be available for student use. This is a great opportunity for students to access additional support in a flexible and welcoming environment.

Join us Wednesdays at lunch in Ms. Keen’s classroom for Peer Mentorship, Peer Buddies, and Tutoring! This is a great opportunity for students to connect across grade levels, get extra help with schoolwork or organization, and build community in a positive, supportive space.
Many of our Grade 8 and 9 students are excited and ready to help, and we would especially love to see more Grade 6 and 7 students come join us!
Grade 9 Farewell Committee – Coming Soon!
A quick heads up for our Grade 9 students that Sra. Keen and Sra. Sunohara will be starting Grade 9 Farewell Committee lunch meetings the week of April 20. Students are invited to bring their lunch and join in to share ideas and help plan this year’s farewell celebration. They will also be connecting with students who may be interested in contributing to or speaking at the event.
