Chantal is a Cree/Métis Singer, Drummer, Artist, Storyteller, and Educator, with roots in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.

She shares Traditional Indigenous Songs, Stories, Culture, History, Arts, Indigenous Craftsmanship and Teachings.

She is visiting our school on February 28 and 29 to share her knowledge about drumming and storytelling. Chantal will explain to the students in small groups the significance of these activities in her culture, and how it enhances their relationships with the land and cultivates a sense of belonging. This activity is designed to promote students' sense of belonging and connection with their local environment.
